Victims and Survivors of Crime Week - Part 2

Today we are publishing the second in a series of three videos created to raise awareness about communication intermediaries (CIs) and the role they play in supporting equitable access to justice for people with communication disabilities. If you have not seen the first video in the series, please take a moment to watch it.

Developed to mark this year’s Victims and Survivors of Crime Week, this second video speaks to the experiences of individuals with communication disabilities in the justice system from the perspective of law enforcement. It explains first hand how communication intermediaries can provide vital supports to the professionals who dedicate themselves to justice for those in our community including victims and survivors of crime.

This video was generously supported by Justice Canada, through its Victims and Survivors of Crime Week grant funding. Their support for the development of this video series it greatly appreciated.
